South Stream starts tour of Eastern Europe

For the South Stream gas pipeline project

A small agile Rainbow show truck has started its journey towards Eastern Europe.

The first part of the tour is in Serbia with various locations. Further tour stops are planned in Bulgaria and Hungary. The show truck will accompany the pipeline construction in sections over the next 2 years. After completion, the pipeline will be approx. 2400 km long and will transport gas from Russia through the Black Sea via Bulgaria, Serbia, and Hungary to Western Europe. Gazprom, Eni, EdF, and the BASF subsidiary Winterschall are involved in the offshore section's joint venture.
